I have a hand cranked New Yorker straight stitch sewing machine, would like to more about the company as I am having issues finding information and then have a valuation.

To the best of my knowledge, The New Yorker Sewing Machine Company has been established in 1956, and their machines are not very popular among collectors. I doubt it has any value as a collectible.
However, straight stitch New Yorker sounds like a semi-industrial machine. Thus, it might have some value for a professional seamstress.
